Problem:

The risk of irregular dosing is always run if the process is being done manually.  For effective Chlorination of swimming pools regular daily dosing is required. There is need at commercial pools (Hotels, Schools and Gyms etc.) for a dosing system to be installed on line that will maintain the water balance easily. 

Solution: 

The HTH® Controller measures the free chlorine, pH, Redox as well as the temperature reading in the pool.  A set point is entered (e.g. Free Chlorine 1.5) into the controller and a reading is taken every 2 – 4 minutes, and if the chlorine reading in the pool is less than the set point, a solenoid valve opens and activate the water flow to the Pulsar® 4 System.  The HTH® Chips are dissolved and the chlorine solution is sucked via a venturi into the inlet to the swimming pool.  When the set point of the free chlorine is reached the solenoid valve is closed and chlorine dosage suspended until the free chlorine readings drop below the set point. 

The HTH® Controller also measures the pH level of swimming pool’s water. Again a set point is entered (e.g. pH 7.3) into the controller.  As soon as the pH level in the swimming pool rises above the set point, a dosing pump switches on and pumps Hydrochloric Acid little by little back into the inlet of the swimming pool.  As soon as the set point is reached, the dosing pump switches off.
